Unite to end violence against women

Big city, small town, even rural communities. Meth labs are hidden in rolling hills of small town areas - soon meth addicts are breaking into homes, hijacking cars, where violent crime was unheard of only a year ago.

RAPES...There were 94,635 reported rapes in 2004. The highest percentage of rape is in the Northeast. July is when the greatest number of rapes occur.

ROBBERIES...There were 401,326 robberies in 2004. Highest percentage of these (38%) were in the South. 42% of the robberies occurred on the streets, 14% occurred in homes.

CAR JACKING...There are around 38,000 car jacking each year. 74% of the victims faced a weapon. About 63% of carjacking incidents occurred within 5 miles of the victim's home, including 17% that occurred at or near the home...sometimes in their own driveway. Only 4% occurred more than 50 miles from the victim's home.

Emergencies can occur anywhere, and preparedness matters

Think Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. God forbid you'd be caught there, as a homeowner, worker or tourist. But if you were, thrown out into the streets to fend for yourself and protect your family, you'd be a lot better off with a taser, stun gun or at least MACE in your pocket.

Pepper Spray Image
Sorry, no Pepper Spray orders to New York or out of the USA

Below are pepper spray laws and restrictions that we are aware of. You should check locally if you believe pepper sprays may be restricted in your area.

State Laws and Restrictions

States Where Pepper Sprays are Restricted
(We cannot ship to these states. If an order is placed your order will be cancelled)

New York: New York residents may only purchase defense sprays from licensed Firearms Dealers or licensed Pharmacists in that state.

Massachusetts: Massachusetts residents may only purchase defense sprays from licensed Firearms Dealers in that state.

States Where Pepper Sprays Have Some Restrictions

Michigan: Pepper spray must not be more than 10% and can be used for self defense. "The reasonable use of a self-defense spray or foam device containing not more than 10% oleoresin capsicum by a person in the protection of a person or property under circumstances that would justify the person's use of physical force."

Wisconsin: Tear gas is not permissible. By regulation, OC products with a maximum OC concentration of 10% and weight range of oleoresin of capsicum and inert ingredients of 15-60 grams are authorized. This is 1/2 oz. and 2 oz. spray. Further, the product cannot be camouflaged, and must have a safety feature designed to prevent accidental discharge. The units may not have an effective range of over 20 feet and must have an effective range of six feet. In addition there are certain labeling and packaging requirements: must state cannot sell to anyone under 18 and the phone number of the manufacturer has to be on the label. The units must also be sold in sealed tamper-proof packages.

NOTE: Pepper Spray is legal in all 50 states, however a number of cities and states have restrictions on sizes, strengths, etc.. If you have a question, it is wise to check with you local city or state attorneys office. Defense sprays should only be purchased by those 18 years of age or older. The above list may not be totally accurate or complete and Safety Technology accepts no responsibility for its accuracy or completeness.

Surveillance Cameras & Systems Image
In the past, surveillance equipment was only used by the government and private investigators. But now more and more people are finding a need for this specialized but easy to use equipment.

Millions of people are using nanny cams to check on their babysitters, surveillance cameras to keep an eye on their homes and businesses and hidden cameras to catch theft, abuse and infidelity. No other method can give you the undeniable proof or evidence that a surveillance camera can.

Please note:

2.4 GHz Transmitters: We use only high powered 2.4 GHz transmitters that can send video signals up to three times further than other transmitters.

Battery Packs: You have to supply power to wireless surveillance and hidden cameras. This is usually done with a battery pack. Most battery packs can only supply power for up to 5 hours. Then you have to throw that pack away and get a new one. But our 12 volt battery pack lasts up to a whopping 12 hours...and it's rechargeable!

Lens Technology: CCD (Charged Coupled Device) is the lens we use in our cameras. There are cheaper lenses on the market, but none of them produce the high quality images that CCD lenses do. CCD lenses are high resolution and highly sensitive to light, allowing them to record in outdoor and low-light conditions.

Now a word of warning...

There are many cameras out there that use 1.2 GHz transmitters and receivers. We have been asked why we don't. The reason is 1.2 GHz frequency is not approved by the FCC for transmitting wireless video. The FCC is aware of the situation and is conducting an ongoing investigation into the production and distribution of 1.2 GHz surveillance products. All of our hidden cameras are FCC approved 2.4 GHz.
